In just a few months the Linux Foundation's first training MOOC, Introduction to Linux, will launch. The course has already attracted nearly 100,000 registrations since it was announced only three weeks ago, making it one of the fastest growing courses we've ever had on edX.
Our partnership with Linux will make in demand training available to anyone, anywhere, bridge a critical skills gap, and open new employment opportunities to students across the globe.
To help spread the word about the course we're holding a live Twitter chat this Thursday, April 3, 2014 from 11:00 AM EDT to 12:00 PM EDT with Jim Zemlin (@jzemlin), Executive Director of the Linux Foundation, and Anant Agarwal (@agarwaledu), edX CEO.
They'll be manning the keyboards and available to answer questions about Linux training, online learning, edX or anything else that you'd like ask. Participate in the chat on Thursday by logging into Twitter and tagging your questions with #edXLinuxChat.
